Note: This method might be called multiple times in a row when using the evaluation framework. Make sure to return a mapping which is specific to the given inputs.

removeReflexiveCorrespondences

Removes all reflexive edges (which maps A to A) from an alignment. The given alignment is used directly and is modified. Thus the returned value is the same object.

alignment - the alignment to be processed.

Returns:

an alignment without reflexive edges.
